Question: I can manage my home equity line of credit but it will mature within the year and because things have tightened up so much and property values have dropped it is unlikely that I will get the financing again. What can I do. I cannot pay it off at this time.

Answer: -Right now there are lots of Loan Modifications going on. This is where the lender can modify the original loan terms to something that is more doable for you. You may want to check it out.

This site is very informative. How often does this get updated and will you have the new loan modification information on here when it comes out?

    Thanks

Testimonials

As for real estate technique specific books, I bought a complete foreclosures and short sale course on the internet. The course (4 books) that I bought was from foreclosureuniversity.com and by a guy named Jared Severe. His "Short Sale Secrets of the Wealthy" is absolutely fabulous!!!! It is just a straight forward, step-by-step guide to doing a short sale and includes every form that you need in the order you need them. It also explains how to fill the forms out and why you are doing it!!!!!! EXCELLENT! This is exactly what I have found to be lacking in so many other books.
