I received an eviction notice for January 6th. I know someone who is being evicted December 31st. Can they do this in the winter?

They can evict anytime they want as long as they have legal grounds to do so. And if the homeowner is not meeting their obligations, that usually is grounds for eviction. Some will wait til after the holidays and others could care less.

Good Luck
